Zulu Publications was established in 1970 as a Community Publishing Arm.

 

It was established to provide opportunities to members of the community to access qualitative and quantitative information for their education and training, culture and entertainment, which could be used to enhance their quality of life and the benefit of the wider society. It aims to give fist time authors an opportunity to have their work published and or exhibited.

 

One of Zulu’s objectives is to ‘give voice to the voiceless’. Those individuals and groups locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, who struggle to be heard, in the interest of freedom and natural justice.

 

Zulu is not aligned to any party-political organisation, religion or sectarian interest.  Zulu will speak boldly and clearly on relevant issues across the divides. It will always seek to support the innocent, vulnerable and oppressed, where possible.

 

Zulu supports the four essential SWEP  Self-Help principles, that is to Share, Warn, Encourage and Protect, in times of plenty and times of scarcity.

 

Zulu publishes on-line and via the printed pages. Partnership working is an essential part of Zulu achieving its objectives.
