Text Box: Water has become a luxury. Needs are many while water is scarce
In Mali’s north-eastern Kidal region water shortages threaten lives and the region’s very stability, residents and local officials say.

Local and national authorities – backed by international agencies – have sent truckloads of water and thousands of tons of rice and fodder to Kidal, where animals are dying daily and water for drinking and bathing is increasingly rare. While residents say the assistance has been significant, they say it is insufficient and long-term solutions are indispensable. [Read full text here]#

Focus on Jamaica’s ‘Unspoken State of Emergency’
VALERIE DIXON (M.B.A.)
“They have created a situation where the loyalty of entire inner-city communities can be bought by anyone prepared to provide basic welfare services that should come from taxes collected for the central state. Due to our so-called leaders’ lack of vision, the people continue to perish in a struggle that has now reached proportions that were similar to the period of enslavement.” [Read full text here]

Not every conspiracy is a theory: Black people are being mass manipulated.
By Franklyn Jones
“This method provides a more contemporary and stealthy design that provides a more socially acceptable means of controlling and suppressing the Black population.
“Its features include the ability to both influence the national climate and engender personal psychological feelings among African Americans that ensures the continuance of white dominance.
“This psychosocial program adversely manipulates and shapes the minds and collective perceptions of African Americans by subjecting them to seeing propaganda depicting only the fraudulent worst in themselves.
“Its unrelenting daily assault on the Black psyche is designed to break down African Americans’ sense of racial unity and allegiance, mold the character of self-hatred, and engender self-doubt, self-loathing, and division among their group that weakens their ranks.
“It also conditions Black people to accept white dominance over their lives by convincing them that it is now they that are their own worst enemies. “ [Read full text here]

“All faith is FALSE, all faith is TRUE.

TRUTH is the shattered mirrors strewn In myriad bits; while each BELIEVES

His LITTLE BIT the whole to own.”

From “The Kasidah of Hji Abu el-Yezdi”, as translated by Sir Richard F. Burton

As Afrikan Resurrection continues to unfold daily, Afrikans everywhere must not forget the contributions Ancestors made to making current 21st Century resurrection process possible. Zumbi is one of those Ancestors.

An Afrikan, ‘known only as Zumbi, born free in Palmares in 1655, but was captured by the Portuguese and given to a missionary, Father António Melo, when he was approximately 6 years old. Baptized Francisco, Zumbi was taught the sacraments, learned Portuguese and Latin, and helped with daily mass. Despite attempts to pacify him, Zumbi escaped in 1670 and, at the age of 15, returned to his birthplace. Zumbi became known for his physical prowess and cunning in battle and was a respected military strategist by the time he was in his early twenties.’More on this Afrikan Jewel can be read at - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zumbi.

In remembrance of ZUMBI, Ba Afrika offers ‘RISE Jewels of the Cosmos’.  Ba also dedicated the words  to others who commit to making positive changes.

Britain's  High Risk Political Experiment

Text Box:  David Cameron , Leader of the Conservative Party, serving as the country's 52nd prime minister and Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, his deputy.
Text Box: An unexpected marriage between the UK Conservative and Liberal Parties on 12 May 2010, resulting in the formation of a Coalition Government, is Britain’s 21st Century high stakes power politics.
The marriage broker in this instance was the world’s economic down turn. Not even the wisest political pundits of our time predicted such a marriage, considering that there had never been a courtship. The ‘shotgun wedding’ was cemented by the realisation that the economic downturn was showing no real signs that it would return to a state of plenty and prosperity anytime soon.
The themes of the Coalition Government are: “Freedom, Fairness and Responsibility.”
This call could have been the same coming from so called developing nations. One must asked - who is threatening the British people’s “freedom?” Those who are calling for ‘freedom’ are not Black people, who have been echoing this type of call for centuries. What is happening in the shadows, unknown to the majority of the population, which motivated two predominantly White-led, highly intelligent and seasoned political parties to call for ‘Freedon’ in this our 21st Century?
Self-Help News - “Giving Voice to the Voiceless” wish the Coalition Government well and hope it will achieve its themed objectives. If it did, we should all benefit.

The Great Question of the 21st Century:
“How is it possible that the White race, with its unparalleled racism, subjugation of all other races, and crimes against humanity is now perceived as the most ethical and moral racial group. What explains the present favourable perception of whites that contradicts historical facts?  How is it that despite a brutal history to the contrary, many Black people now holds the sentiment that whites are generally more humane, lesser to engage in crime, and are of a higher moral character. For some Blacks these perceptions have become so strongly affirm within their minds that they immediately react angrily against their fellow Blacks that makes any claims to the contrary.” Franklin Jones, July 2010.
